Awards Background
The conference plays host to the prestigious RMI Excellence Awards, recognising excellence in the supply of malt products to the brewing & distilling industries through transformative innovations, cross-industry or supply chain collaborations, measurable results, the building of sustainable eco-systems and a demonstrable long-term mindset.
Previously referred to as the ‘Brewing Supply Awards’ and renamed for our 2024 Conference to recognise the increasing scope of the RMI Conference audience beyond brewing to include distilling and wider supply chain members, RMI has used the conference Gala Dinner as an opportunity to recognise excellence in our industry. Awarded to maltsters large and small, brewers and distillers, RMI provides a platform to share their amazing achievements and draw attention to encourage wider industry adoption and recognition.
Award Criteria
Organisations and their initiatives are considered and weighted against five excellence categories. The shortlist will be selected through a combination of desktop research and follow up questions to specific organisations where required. Once this shortlist has been selected, maltsters, brewers and distillers will be asked to rank their peers and supply chain partners.
